This mod was performed by Cheston Chiu. He deserves all credit for
these instructions. However, he and Southeast Maxima Group are not
liable for your actions. These instructions are more for a guide,
not "true" instructions.

Tools needed:
- Two or three rolls of 3M double sides tape (1/2 inch wide)
- Phillips screwdriver
- A pack (10) of small sheet metal screws
- Dremel tool or drill
- Alcohol pads
Install:
-
Start by removing the plastic covers on the sides of the car
(where mudflap would be.. or remove your mudflaps) Now, clean
your car, underneath the doors, the bottom of the front bumper,
and under the back of the car, where the rear pieces will go.
This will ensure good clean contact
-
Now with the FRONT LIP test fit it to the front of the car.
On both sides, there is a screw, holding in part of the fender
wall. This conviently is the exact location on where the sides
of the front lip are going to be attached to.... remove the
screws.
-
Cut a few strips of double sided 3M tape and stick it to the
portion that goes ontop of the bumper (in between the grills
for a 97+ kit, or the front of the car for 95-96 kits) Stick
the front lip on and press hard. Now attach the sides of the
front lip to the fender sides, and screw THROUGH the lip into
the hole where you removed that screw from..
-
You'll notice, that it takes some patience because the polyurethane
is thick, but that's good. So it won't shatter if you hit something.
-
Now for the side skirts. Starting from the driver side, test
fit the skirt. then stick the 3M tape all the way along the
top portion of the skirt, that will rest onto the car (you know,
undernearth the doors...) DON'T remove the anti-stick tape covering
yet. With one hand (and knee) holding up the skirt, peel off
the tape while pressing the skirt down onto the ledge. Remove
the anti-stick cover, press, remove cover, press, etc. until
you have the whole skirt on. Then screw/drill the sides of the
skirt into the fender walls.
-
If you feel that the double sided tape won't hold up, then
do what i did. I put little rivets into the sides of the car,
with mini-metal screws to attach the skirt to the ledge. Easiest
way is to pre-drill a tiny hole all the way thru the skirt and
ledge, then hand tighten a screw. Not too tight, don't want
to strip it...EVENLY space the screws so that you can close
the door without any problems. once that's done, repeat for
the other side.
-
For the rear pieces, it's kinda tricky. The RIGHT side of the
car, you'll have to test fit it so it will clear the muffler.
There's a little piece of metal, next to the muffler on the
bumper, can you see it? That's where you can put a screw through
the rear skirt into the bumper to secure it. You can use double
sided tape to aid you in attaching it. For the other side, i
just screwed thru the rear skirt and into the bumper to hold
it in place.
-
Everything should be really fundamental, if it doesn't fit,
try sanding it down.
-
Done.
-
Your car looks Tiiiiight. Congrats, now people will stare at
you.
